Jazz dance has its origins in African dance; rhythmic and dynamic, it represents today the basic technique in the world of show business (theater, cinema, television, video clips). It is the bridge between classical and contemporary dance. The Thursday class is open to all levels. The Tuesday class is for intermediate/advanced level and combines teenagers and adults in the same class.
Attire: Comfortable, sporty loose-fitting clothing, ideally close to the body (e.g. leggings). Bare feet/socks/slippers and hair tied back.
