Born on the street, this discipline encompasses a variety of different styles. The first styles launched in the 1970s were uprock, breaking and funk. Nowadays, Afro and Latin rhythms are also included. Hip Hop can be interpreted in many different ways, from rhythm and phrasing to the meaning of words in Dylan's Lyrical Hip Hop.

Attire: comfortable, sporty loose-fitting clothing, sports shoes with non-marking soles. No dress shoes or sports shoes that have been worn outdoors.
